End the #J4JW Facebook ban

On July 14th, the Justice for Jollibee Workers campaign’s Facebook page was unpublished. According to Facebook, our page was against their standards on “account integrity and authentic identity”. We believe this was Jollibee's attempt to suppress the voices of the illegally terminated Jollibee workers and many others who started to use the page as a platform to raise their issues.

When 90% of the Journal Square workers signed a petition for higher wages and better working conditions, Jollibee responded with the same suppression by illegally terminating 9 workers. They are once again suppressing workers demands by banning our Facebook page. The Justice for Jollibee Workers page has become a place where thousands of supporters, current, and former Jollibee workers share their solidarity as well as their own experiences at Jollibee. The page has become a tool for many people to expose the abusive workplace practices of the corporation worldwide.

The bosses are afraid that we, the workers, are speaking out. We won’t let Jollibee, the corporate media, or tech giants silence us. History has shown that when the power of the people is on our side, the truth will always reveal itself. Onward!

We're asking for your help to amplify the voices of workers who are now standing up against this corporate giant.

The workers demand:

REINSTATEMENT
BACKPAY, and a
PUBLIC APOLOGY from Jollibee!

They demand:

HIGHER WAGES, and
BETTER WORKING CONDITIONS!

We will be having a social media action tomorrow, July 15th at 8PM EST to condemn Jollibee's illegal termination of workers and the Facebook ban. Follow #Justice4JollibeeWorkers to stay updated.
